The Details
Margate has been listed as one of the UK’s ‘up-and-coming’ towns! Let’s meet there!
Margate main sands won the Seaside Award 2024 and has some children’s rides on the beach itself. Perfect for a sunny day and perfect for sandcastles!
The price includes your host who will be available to assist you in the run up to the event, organise an online call for the group pre-hub and be present throughout the week of the hub. You will receive a full, carefully thought out itinerary tailored to the group joining this hub.
This itinerary will include an array of activities which will encourage the group to get together and create connections. This may include anything; meeting at the beach, visiting a landmark, a museum or other historical sites or grabbing some classic English fish & chips!
Along with this itinerary comes a bonus list of recommendations for extra activities, where to eat, walk or anything notable in the area. Toddlers, tweens, teens and kidults; we will have you covered!
The price excludes accommodation and travel.
The activities expected in this hub are free or low cost. Recommendations on where to stay can be found in the Guidelines document.
Please note that while we may include educationally based activities from time to time, we do not provide direct education to your children and do not claim to be a school or educational facility.
You will see on sign up that there is an option to tick a box if you would be interested on sharing accommodation with another family. In the case that more than one family tick this, we will put all interested families in touch to organise accommodations together.
Public transport is widely accessible here but walking around can be more hilly than people expect. A car may be beneficial. Free parking on most streets.
Please see this Guidelines document for an idea of expenses expected within this trip to help your planning.
