The Details
Join us in a unique destination at the Channel Isles!
We will explore Guernsey, Herm (or Lithou) and Sark over 5 days learning about local history and small (and even smaller!) island life. All alongside other families who hold similar values of freedom in how you travel, learn and live!
Guernsey is a little gem which hold an unusual mix of English and French cultures. Herm’s beaches have been likened to those in the Carribean. Sark is a whole different way of life and is the worlds first official dark-sky island!
The price includes your host who will be available to assist you in the run up to the event, organise an online call for the group pre-hub and be present throughout the week of the hub. You will receive a full, carefully thought out itinerary tailored to the group joining this hub.
This itinerary will include an array of activities which will encourage the group to get together and create connections. This may include anything; meeting at the beach for rock-pooling, meet & greet with a published author, visiting a museum or other historical sites, going for a lovely English afternoon tea or traditional English Sunday roast!
Along with this itinerary comes a bonus list of recommendations for extra activities, where to eat, walk or anything notable in the area. Toddlers, tweens, teens and kidults; we will have you covered!
The price excludes accommodation and travel. Recommendations on where to stay can be found in the Guidelines document.
Please note that we do not provide direct education to your children and do not claim to be a school or educational facility.
You will see on sign up that there is an option to tick a box if you would be interested on sharing accommodation with another family. In the case that more than one family tick this, we will put all interested families in touch to organise accommodations together.
While a car can be useful in Guernsey, parking is not always easy and we have previously found it cheaper to get taxi’s/buses where needed. Boats will be used for inter-island travel during this hub. Bike rental is recommended on Sark.
Please see this Guidelines document for an idea of expenses expected within this trip to help your planning.
