MY WORLDSCHOOL HUB

Guideline Document – Channel Isles 14th – 18th July 2025

Accommodation

We will be staying on Guernsey 14th – 17th and then spending one night on Sark 17th – 18th. Don’t worry, we will be happy to help you organise this!

Accommodations on Guernsey tend to be on the pricier side of things; expect to spend £650+ for 3 nights in a hotel or airbnb.

A great budget option is to camp:

You can bring a campervan to Guernsey if you travel by ferry. Parking in campsites with a campervan can be as little as £19 per night!

There are also a few options for glamping cabins on Guernsey;

Staying near St Peter’s Port will put you in the main centre of the town.
If you do stay a bit further out, there are bus services for only £1.25 per journey and taxi services are available via a quick phone call too.

For Sark, B&B’s and hotels will charge £230+ for 1 night 17th – 18th July.

There are a couple of campgrounds:

Activity Costs

You are welcome to join in on all, some or only selected activities of your choosing. There will always be alternative things to do and at least one free option each day.

For the itinerary we put together, you can expect that the cost to take part in all activities from start to finish will cost between £50 – £100 per person (depending on age of person and whether pre-booking offers are used)
This estimate also includes inter-island ferries between Guernsey, Herm and Sark.

Food Costs

Both Guernsey and Sark have a range of restaurants and convenience stores will be open on both islands if you wish to make your own food.

Prices on Guernsey are much like that of in England/UK mainland. Sark however, does often have some inflated costs for some products and eating out. A meal out in Sark will cost £20-40 per person on average.

Travel costs

Please budget for your travel costs according to where you are coming from and how you will be travelling. It is possible to use a ferry or airplane to get to Guernsey.

Bus tickets in Guernsey are £1.25 per journey.

Daily bike hire in Sark is £8.50 for a standard bike or £18 for an electric bike.
